Ebook reviews – Free Ebooks Dot Net

In this review, I want to talk about ebook reviews. There are tons of websites on the web advertising paid and free ebooks. I want to show you one particular website that offers free and paid Ebooks.

Email Campaigns

When you start an email campaign it’s a good idea to try to obtain email addresses by offering free digital products. E-books fit the bill beautifully, as more and more people are searching for free information.

Who doesn’t like free information?

Your email subscribers will love you for the information you send them and it’s a way to keep them on your list. They will want to stay on your list for more free information. Some of it may be relevant to them and some of it won’t. You must send free digital products that fit within your niche. It’s no good sending them a free recipe book if their niche is golf.

Free Ebooks dot net

Free ebooks dot net is a website that offers it’s customers a choice of many e-books. There are many topics to choose from including.

  • Fiction

They also offer audiobooks for fiction, non-fiction and children’s fiction.

Within the above categories are many sub-sections so plenty to choose from.

The navigation of their website is very easy and you can find what you are looking for in a flash.

On the free plan, you are allowed to download 5 ebooks a month, which isn’t very many if you are sending out frequent email campaigns. There are 4 options the first one is free. The other options are shown below in the screenshot.

So as you can see from the screenshot you have a choice of payment options for unlimited free ebooks. The best option in my eyes is the last one where you get a free membership for life for $49.95. They promise to treat you like a V.I.P if you upgrade. Below is what they promise.

Audio Books

Do you love listening to stories rather than reading them?

Most audiobook fans assume that Audible and iTunes are the only places to find them. Don’t get me wrong the iTunes library is vast in scale, and you can find almost any audiobook ever recorded.

The Audible app has become a powerhouse of books, podcasts, and exclusive original content, often recorded by major celebrities.

But if you don’t feel like paying for each book individually, or you’re not keen on Audible’s subscription program, there are plenty of ways to stream or download books for free.

Not only is this legal; in some cases, this is the mission of the organizations that record them.

Podcasts or Audiobooks?

Going off subject a little, here is a short introduction to both.

Your workday commute is not what it used to be. Many professionals zip up their drive or train ride with a little audio adventure in the form of podcasts and audiobooks. Podcasts are episodic and similar to radio. Some people love audiobooks so they can catch up on their reading, without actually reading. It’s a great way to use your otherwise boring commute in a sensible and enjoying way.

Audiobooks have been around for longer than podcasts. Many remember the days of checking out the cassette tape or CD-versions of their favorite books from the library.

Audiobooks are a great gateway to books that you might not otherwise pick up. There’s no guilt if you don’t finish an audiobook, but an unfinished physical book is like a weight shackled to your ankle.

Some Audiobooks are Hard to Find

Plus, audiobooks offer a different experience with a story than just reading words on a page. Audiobooks are much trickier to find for free they are available at the library, but not always the ones you may want to listen to and not always right away.

Podcasts offer a wide array of topics in a short, accessible format. If you want a 30-minute podcast for your 30-minute commute, you can find that. Need a four-hour podcast for a long drive? Podcasts have you covered. These short-form episodes make entertainment and learning much easier than the long drudgery of audiobooks.

Sure, audiobooks may be longer than your average podcast, but the reward is also greater. The people reading books to you turning the book into an audiobook are legitimate voice actors, and the best ones are able to draw you into a story in a way that podcasts or even books never will.

Your time is better spent knocking titles off your reading list than listening to a few episodes of the latest viral podcast.

When an audiobook works, it’s a great collaboration between writer and narrator

Let’s be honest, this argument begins and ends with the fact that Audible, one of the most popular distributors of audiobooks, makes it impossible to cancel your subscription. Once you sign up for their trial offer, you become hooked and there is no turning back. (in some cases).

Podcasts, on the other hand, are free and easy to download. They also offer their own artistic style, similar to documentaries and radio shows. There will always be favorites among both the audiobook and podcast families.

In music, movies, and television, the better-produced something is, the more it usually costs. In podcasts and audiobooks, the reverse is true the most popular free stuff all sounds expensive, and the most popular expensive stuff mostly sounds cheap.

Back to basics!

Ordering Audiobooks

When you order an audiobook with free books dot net you will actually receive it on a pre-loaded thumb drive. This is really convenient as it saves you the trouble of uploading individual ebooks to your own thumb drives.

Free ebooks dot net do what they call bundles so if you need the perfect gift for the bookworm that’s read it all for instance. Check out their pre-loaded USB drives with carefully selected books and audiobooks from their vast collection. No downloading, no waiting. Compatible with every device out there (including Kindle, Nook, Apple devices, Android devices, Sony readers and both Mac and PC). The prices are a little steep in my view but are a lot cheaper than buying hardback books, and more convenient too. Below is what is promised with your audiobooks.

  • Your personal Preloaded 8GB USB Flash Drives
  • Convenient mp3 Format: Compatible with ALL listening devices
  • Saves DAYS of Downloading
  • No internet or WiFi Required
  • Professional English (and some American) Narrators
  • High-quality sound
  • Incredible Value: seemingly Endless Entertainment
  • Free Worldwide Shipping

Submit your Ebook for Free

Yes, you can submit your own ebook for free. Sounds too good to be true but there’s more. Free ebooks dot net will give you free lifetime access to their V.I.P subscription as a thank-you for sharing your work. You do have to agree to their guidelines and they also stipulate that non-fiction books have to be less than 50 pages and all books less than 20 pages. This seems very fair. All you have to do is fill in a small online form and describe your work in 30-800 words, upload your work and that’s it.
