My goal as an online review and article writer is to help you avoid get-rich-quick scams and find genuine money-making methods that actually work and the ones that don’t work.
I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my review and using your due diligence to do your own research into any kind of program like this that claims you can make money online.
I am here to assure you I have nothing to do with or I am not affiliated with this product.
This is an independent review with my honest and open opinion. I have nothing to gain by writing this review.
I would also like to inform my readers in my Survey Junkie review whether or not it is a legit program to use. And if it worth your time and effort.

What is Survey Junkie? (Review)
Survey Junkie is an online community with over 10 million members who take part in completing surveys and get paid for doing it.
To be eligible to join you must be 13 years of age or older and reside in the US, UK, Canada or Australia.
To get started completing surveys you will need to set up your account as follows below.
- Create your free account here
- Fill in your personal details… name, email address etc
- Take a short survey (You will receive 25 points for this)
- Confirm your email (Get 25 points)
- Start filling in the 10 point demographic surveys
- Start browsing the surveys that are relevant to you
How Does Survey Junkie Work?
Once you start doing surveys and complete them you will see the amount you have earned immediately
You will be paid via Paypal or E-gift cards (the US only) And be able to cash out at $10 (Minimum Threshold). You will need to reach a total of 1000 points which is equivalent to $10 to cash out.
The surveys you will receive all depend on the demographics you filled in when you signed up. So it really is worth filling in every profile survey before you start doing the higher paying surveys. As this way, you will increase your chances of getting more surveys with higher rewards.
My profile surveys
You will see the surveys available on your home page and the number of points you will receive for completing that particular survey. Plus the approximate time it will take to complete it if you qualify and don’t get screened out.
My available surveys
Screened out means you originally qualified for the survey but once you start the survey you will be asked a few more questions and if you then do not qualify you will be screened out and given 2-3 token points for trying.
Image of being screened out
You must always try to be honest when completing any survey whether it is a profile survey or a higher paying survey. But one little tip. You will always get screened out if you are asked if you work in the advertising industry and you tick yes. This probably won’t apply to you anyway but never admit you work in the advertising industry even if you do.
The screenshot below is a pop up that you will see before you start any survey.
Survey Junkie Good Points
No Expiry Date for your Points
You can tally up the points you earn for as long as you want before you cash out. As there is no expiry date on them. The only requirement for this is that you need to complete at least one survey per year to keep your account open.
Redeeming your Cash is Easy
Once you reach the payout minimum of $10 you can easily redeem your cash straight to your Paypal account. Or you can choose to cash out with E-gift cards (for US residents only).
The Inventory of Surveys is Huge
Survey Junkie has been in business since 2005. So there are a lot of companies working with them. There is definitely a large survey inventory for everyone. (Meaning surveys should always be available to complete)
Good Ratings on BBB (Better Business Bureau) and Trustpilot
Below is just some of the positive reviews about Survey Junkie.
I’ve signed up or looked into 5 different sites for survey-taking and so far Survey Junkie has been the best. I get the greatest number of surveys from them because Survey Junkie connects with many other survey-taking sites to find you ‘more’ surveys, but these kinds of connections can sometimes come with mixed results.
There is ‘almost’ always surveys for you to enter on Survey Junkie, regardless of the time of day or day of the week you check in. You will receive emails from them often about new surveys opening up, including exclusive surveys that only take 1-2 minutes to complete that you sometimes can only access through the link you obtain in the email. Over time, you may become a ‘top survey taker’ and get access to even more surveys that are worth additional points. Some survey sites are hard to build points up on because surveys aren’t offered often enough, but with Survey Junkie, if you put in the time and the effort, you will get your rewards relatively quickly.
The spots to get into these surveys are limited, and often you will click survey links on the website only to see “Sorry, this survey has already filled up!” or “You don’t qualify for this survey!” messages (though you sometimes will still receive a couple of points for trying to enter these surveys anyway, which is nice). If you don’t check your email survey invites right away when you receive them, you likely won’t be able to participate in them (unless they are the email-only exclusive ones that award 10 points and only take 1-2 minutes – those always seem to be available for you). As such, you can very quickly receive a full inbox of survey invites that are all expired and useless to you. You might also be ineligible for some surveys based on your initial responses, so depending on your lifestyle, you may have to spend a significant amount of time to find a survey that you qualify for and will receive full points for. Some survey sites also seem to just cheat you out of your points, giving you the ‘Sorry, you don’t qualify for this survey’ response after you go through their entire 20-30 minute-long survey, but I feel like this is the fault of the external survey site, and not Survey Junkie.
Some days are better than others, and you will be pulling in lots of points across many different surveys. Other days, you might put in an hour and only end up with a few points because you don’t qualify for whom the surveys are looking for. Your survey-taking experiences will largely be inconsistent because all the different survey sites that Survey Junkie works with have different designs, layouts, criteria, and quality. When you do accumulate enough points, though, Survey Junkie is great at rewarding you for your effort – it has several different rewards/payment options, and doesn’t charge any extra points or fees for PayPal deposits, which is really nice. Overall I recommend the site; just keep in mind that occasionally the surveys, like life, just won’t play out in your favor.
Survey Junkie Bad Points
Being Screened Out of Surveys
Being screened out can be frustrating and when you try to do a survey it can also tell you that the limit has been reached for that survey. In other words, the survey has been filled with enough people completing that particular survey. You will be compensated with only 2-3 points for trying.
Not Being Able To Cash Out
There have been many complaints on the BBB website about survey takers not being able to cash out what they are owed. The problem stems from Survey Junkie wanting more evidence of the person’s account and the need to verify it. Most of the complaints have been resolved. It seems the support service is rather slow to answer but are forthcoming in the end.
Some of the complaints see below.
What Is Survey Junkie (Review) – Conclusion
Although Survey Junkie is one of the better survey-taking websites there are still complaints. I feel Survey Junkie should let their clients know upfront about the verification process on redeeming funds.
The process seems to be very long-winded and it does not need to be. In saying that some clients say the process of redeeming funds was easy and quick.

An Easier Method To Make Money Online

The way I earn money online is with the affiliate marketing model. This pays out much more than doing surveys. The point I am trying to make is you can make money online if you know how too.
To learn how to make money online is not as simple as filling in and completing surveys. There is a lot more to it than that. I think this is why many people are put off because the learning curb is huge.
Everyone who wants to make money online nearly always starts out doing simple things like taking surveys or doing tasks on get paid to sites. That’s how I started myself.
At some time it dawns on you that there must be a better and more fruitful way to make money online. I honestly wasn’t looking for a way to make money online at the time I started. Then I came across an affiliate marketing training platform called Wealthy Affiliate and it changed my life.
The training is so powerful that you really and truly enjoy doing it. So to learn what I know and how I started please take the 7-day free trial on Wealthy Affiliate. Just click on the free signup button in the box below.
See you on the inside.
